Construction - AHEAD OF SCHEDULE!

Amidst all the troubles in Batticaloa, our contractor has been steadily moving forward. He has indeed exceeded expectations.

Expected Date of Completion: 2nd week of October, 2006!

Following is an extract from a letter issued by ur Contractor on the Progress of the Sri Viniyagar School in Batticaloa.

Important Dates & Events

February 16, 2006: A temporary letter to hand over the land to the Education Department was issued by the Divisional Secretary, Kaluwanchikudy.

February 20, 2006: Setting out of the buildings was started.

February 22, 2006: Foundation work for the Administration block was started.

February 28, 2006: Foundation work for the single storied classrooms building was started.

March 10, 2006: Foundation work for the two storied classrooms building was started.

April 9 – April 16, 2006: Site was closed for the New Year holidays.

Present Situation: Our progress is at a very good phase and on schedule.
