The purchase of the sports and musical items was made possible with a donation of the wonderful students of the Franken-College in Zuelpich Germany through the RC Euskirchen-Burgfey

The handing over ceremony took place in Batticaloa, soon after the Foundation Stone laying ceremony on Tuesday 6th December 2005.
